Omushkego Oral History Project - Centre for Rupert's Land Studies - The Centre for Rupert's Land Studies at The University of Winnipeg facilitates scholarly research and publishing concerning the human history of the Hudson's Bay Company territory, known from 1670 to 1870 as Rupert's Land. The Omushkegowak Oral History Project provides backup and support for Louis Bird to translate and transcribe audio tapes from his extensive collection of audiotapes documenting Swampy Cree legends and oral history.
The University of Winnipeg Library - The Library provides technical support and website maintenance for the OurVoices.ca site. The long-term goal is too provide the infrastructure of OurVoices.ca to other projects representing the voices of Canadians.
